You can permanently delete your Apex Life account and all associated data from within the app. This cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open the Apex Life app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Delete My Account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field and confirm.
- You may be asked to re-authenticate (sign in again) to verify it's really you before the deletion completes.
If you're unable to access the app (for example, you've lost your device or forgotten your password), email [email protected] from the email address on your account and we will confirm who you are, delete the account, and reply within 30 days (the same commitment as our Privacy Policy).
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, our servers automatically remove:
- Your sign-in account (email and authentication credentials)
- Everything stored under your account in our database, including your profile, goals, daily data, journal entries, settings, coach chat history, and connected-service tokens
- Files you uploaded (such as photos and recordings) in our file storage
- Server-side links to any bank accounts you connected through Stripe Financial Connections
What may remain, and for how long
- Backups and server logs may keep copies for a short time after deletion. Our Privacy Policy does not state an exact period, so we do not state one here.
- Crash and analytics data is kept under Firebase's standard retention settings. We have not set a custom period.
- Purchase and subscription records are held by Apple, Google, and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) under their own policies. Deleting your Apex Life account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Data you exported or shared outside the app, and data held by services you connected (for example Google or Strava), is not controlled by us.
